Icon design to create unique points of entry
Best in Travel 2021 is a compilation of the hottest destinations in the world and I was tasked with art directing a set of interior icons. Simple vector based geometric designs complemented the overall design of the book, and gave each entry a unique sell. These badges were also used for digital displays and marketing collateral to promote the title.
For Eat Vietnam I created a series of pen and ink digital illustrations to add character to the layout. I mirrored the pen and ink style font used in the internal pages.
Curiosities and Splendour is an anthology of classic travel literature, featuring the works of iconic travellers including Mark Twain, Charles Darwin and John Muir. The interior spot icons needed to reflect the history and have a quality vintage feel.
